Description Tauranga's resident rock star Phil Rudd says displaying his red-hot car collection today (Saturday) is the least he can do to help quake-ravaged Christchurch.

In a rare gesture by the usually private rocker, the AC/DC drummer and avid supercar enthusiast will be at Farmer Auto Village in Mount Maunganui today for the auctions of three rides in some of his 11 luxury cars on show, with all proceeds going to the New Zealand Red Cross 2011 Earthquake Appeal.
