Any news about the new tour will be placed in a members only forum. It's not fullproof, only a deterrent but I had a LOT of ticket vendors (touts?) start to follow my Twitter account when I announced the Brian Johnson tour, which I banned. Can't stop them visiting public facebook pages or twitter pages, but I'll be darned if I will feed them with tip-offs about new tour dates etc.

This will also stop Blabber***** rags from blasting info to the scalpers since they don't really care either since their only goal is to get punters to their sites.

Also could Ticketmaster do more? I think they could if they really wanted to [hint]. They have obviously got an infrastructure which is not capable of filtering these type of assaults - why?

I got really lucky with tickets for the last tour, great seats etc. but not everybody was so lucky with the fan tickets going on sale at the same time as the general public. Lot's of fans computers froze and they got locked out from getting the best tickets. This again is unacceptable.

Looking around at other groups forums, it is plain as day that AC/DC has the most abysmal attendance by fans of any other group. Fuck, even dead groups forums are busier than those for AC/DC. Van Halen have three massive forums - are they just more popular with fans? and I won't even mention the Metallica forums, maybe literacy amongst AC/DC fans is in short supply, maybe they can't get past even the registration process?

Mine is a belt that was bought for me by my best friend of nearly thirty years.
