Spoiler
Some of the stories are a bit short, but that means that there isn't much "padding" which is a good thing.
There is not a lot of detail about the band, which is not what this book is about anyway. However, there are a few gems which had me rolling on the floor. Brian is open and candid, you almost feel like you are having a one-to-one conversation with him at times. The chapters revolve around makes of car, and there is a story relating to each. One of the stories is about a Humvee, and its owner, "Arnie" (Terminator Arnie):
About Phil Rudd's driving:
I can see why the book is only available in the UK, it is VERY British, and Brian has clearly not lost his British-ness. He might live in Florida, but lift up the hood, and the engine is British....
About the Mini:
All in all, this is an entertaining read, there are a few typos and grammatical errors, but overall - very, very funny......if you're British

So this was Arnie's ride. Well, of course it was. He had to drive something that was him, an action mobile. What happened next floored me. Arnie came out of his caravan wearing an Angus schoolboy suit, complete with guitar. At first I thought someone had left an air hose up Angus's arse, but no, it was Arnie, ready to rock. And rock he did! He did a duet with Angus, then picked up Angus with one arm and sat him on his shoulder. You know this guy was all right.
About Phil Rudd's driving:
Quote
You'll usually see Phil driving alone, the reason being everyone is too scared to get in the car with him. You see, Phil thinks all the other cars on the road are there for his entertainment. The rest of the lads would make all kinds of excuses; mine was, 'Sorry mate, I've got to stay home and rearrange my fridge magnets.' Undeterred, he would venture out looking for other band members. Angus's excuse was that he'd forgotten the riff to 'Highway to Hell' and had to practice again. Cliff feigned endless bilious attacks and Mal just said, 'You're fucking joking.'

About the Mini:

The new Mini is a wonderful car - the Germans got it just right. But for me, when it's standing next to the original, it's the sixties one I want to drive. It's got that 'we've got the best bands in the world, Union Jack, buy British, see you in the King's Road, "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "My Generation", Ban the Bomb, England 4 - Germany 2' feel about it.
All in all, this is an entertaining read, there are a few typos and grammatical errors, but overall - very, very funny......if you're British
