AC/DC: Highway To Hell

The last album to feature Bon Scott also features their best cover. As the rest of the band looks menacingly at the camera, Scott is chuckling, offset from the rest of the band, at lead guitarist, Angus Young; dressed as the devil, with tail in hand.

My fav of all time...hence my avatar BUT I do like the Black Ice album cover, but think all the colors is overdoing it some. Also like FTATR album - especially the inverted Spanish version which is really classy IMO.

are we talking ANY band albums? if we're talking DC albums only then, HTH was the first album i ever owned by DC, as a young teenager, & i can remember being quite fascinated by the cover & spending alot of time staring at it i think the expression on angus face was really interesting to me! so i see where your coming from! but i would say the most iconic for me would be SUL cover with the bronze statue (pretty much sums angus up as the (mortal) god he is!!!!) . i love everything bout the cover!

ltbr is the cover i dont like at all its bloody awful
fly on the wall is one of my favourites
other bands motorheads covers are good
favourite of them all heaven/ hell black sabbath

That is a great album hanger. Agree about LTBR cover, it could have been better. I like the IM covers also....colorful and creative

I GOTTA SAY I THINK powerage is the worst cover, looks a bit cheap & nasty espesh with that logo!
i really love the Scorpions covers ,, Blackouts a good one! !

Anything up to HTH was amateur-looking IMO. Even Bob Defrin, the HTH album artist said that the artwork didn't really get "serious" until HTH. I think the covers weren't really given a priority at the time.....now they've gone the opposite and give you multi-colored choices. Essentially the yellow, white and red versions of Black Ice are the same with the exception of the blue one, which includes the deluxe booklet. I saw that for about $4 new on amazon.com at the end of last year.
