Has this DVD (The latest version from this year) been released in Australia? I can't find it anywhere.

I don' think it ever was. Your best bet is to find a copy on eBay and get it shipped to you. I sent a bunch to some friends in the UK before the UK release date and they all play there. The bluray isn't region encoded so should play anywhere.
