AC/DC Monopoly board game due in August
According to USAopoly, an AC/DC themed board game based on the popular fast-dealing property trading game of Monopoly, is going into production next week and will be available from August 2011.
USAopoly announced the new game on their Facebook page:Insider scoop: Thunderstruck! AC/DC MONOPOLY is going into production next week. Game will be available this August!
The completely customized game features the band's most popular albums and locations including Black Ice, Stiff Upper Lip, AC/DC Lane and more, allowing fans to build their own AC/DC empire. Includes 6 custom tokens: Cannon, Bundle of Dynamite, Bell on Fire, Lightning Bolt, Angus's School Boy Hat, and Stacks of Cash.
Last year an AC/DC trading card set was announced by Press Pass Inc, however, the cards never materialized.
USAOPOLY began in 1994 with a hometown spin on the classic Monopoly® game. After securing permission from Hasbro to license the world famous property trading game from Parker Brothers®, the San Diego edition of the MONOPOLY game was born, and so was USAopoly, Inc. Starting with cities, colleges and popular themes like The Simpsons®, Harley-Davidson ® and the NFL.
