AC/DC to release 'Black Ice' Live CD/DVD in May 2011
AC/DC are to release the Black Ice World Tour live DVD on May 10 2011. It will be the band's 6th live release which was filmed at the Buenos Aires gigs on December 2nd, 4th and 6th, 2009 in front of 65,000 people each night at the River Plate Stadium in Argentina.
The film was directed by David Mallet, who has been filming AC/DC for over 25 years, starting with "Who Made Who" which was also used in a feature film in 1986.
Brian Johnson, the band's lead singer, gave an interview in February confirming the latest release. However Johnson wouldn’t be drawn on whether we can expect to see any live action from the band in a hurry. “After that [the live release] we haven’t made any plans,” he said. “We just want to have a rest, because we were on the road for two years. We played in front of five million people, and we deserve a rest.”

Why does everybody write May 10 , I preordered it on amazon.de for shipping on May 6 a few days ago, btw can’ t wait after the kick-ass trailer!
We are US based and can’t get it until May 10, therefore we write May 10 – we actually broke this news as details were coming in to us. First one product, then a second about 10 minutes later and the only info available to us at the time was that date and the details we published in our post
