AC/DC unlikely nominees for an American Music Award
It has been an amazing couple of years for AC/DC, winning one award after another, and hard on the heels of their recent successes AC/DC have been nominated for “Favorite Soundtrack” for Iron Man 2 at this year’s AMA’s. They are competing against Glee: The Music, Volume 3 The Showstoppers and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in the category.

The AMA’s are considered “current/popular artist” awards, so it is unusual to see veteran acts like AC/DC being nominated.
The likes of Justin Beiber, Eminem, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry are up for “Artist of the Year” in the biggest category.
