AC/DC up for Classic Rock award
AC/DC are nominated for two prizes , including that of Band Of The Year at the Classic Rock Roll of Honour which will be held on Wednesday 10 November 2010 at the Roadhouse Venue in London. Alice Cooper will be the MC.
They will be competing against Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and the Jeff Beck Band in the category.
AC/DC are also nominated for Reissue Of The Year, for their Backtracks box set - alongside The Rolling Stones (Exile on Main Street), plus Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, David Bowie, Nazareth, King Crimson and Rhino Records' Where The Action Is: LA Nuggets 1965-1968.
